Original character designs for my illustrated picture book, Nigel and the Very Bored Vampires.

 They’re a family of very bored vampires, (as the title suggests!) and focus was placed on creating a modern, more mundane take on a vampire family, whilst still taking visual cues from traditional, more gothic depictions of vampires through use of colour and clothing design -  their outdoor coats take inspiration from the silhouette of a vampire cape.
